My next project: Kallissima

This is where I want to take my next project. In my previous paintings ‘Disconnected’ and ‘Property of HMP, both feature images of myself in a plastic prison property bag, I like the way the translucence of the plastic plays with the light and distorts or partially hides the image

Everything we buy/consume today comes in some form of packaging, mainly plastic.

Working with the female form, the model Kallissima brings beauty to the subject. My paintings in the past have been so clinically cold and had an air of menace about them.

A new series of paintings

I plan to do a series of paintings featuring plastic and other materials that obscure and somehow compliment each other, making for an interesting piece of art.
